Finding a Job
Ok. so i really didnt no what to write my blog about this week, so i decided to write about finding a job. I currently have a job but i only work one day a week. so the last few months I have been searching for a job and have had no luck in it. Most applications are done online now, and 90% of them ask for my Social Security Number. I dont know about you, but i do not feel comfortable giving my SSN out over the internet. I mean how do you no the site is safe? Maybe i am just paranoid, but if I would rather give it to my employer rather then putting it onto the internet.

I agree 100% with you. i have also been looking for a job and been filling out applications and everytime i see that they want me to put my SSN on there and i cringe everytime afraid of something bad to happen to it.
ReplyDeleteYeah I know what you mean. I don't always fill my SSN in. I was told that if I was ever asked that to write "as needed."
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about finding a job. I was jobless for a couple of months and it was horrible! Looking for a job is really hard and I agree with you about the whole social security number thing.
